Boosting the Voltage: The inductor along with a switch and capacitor work together to boost the voltage to a higher level suitable for the inverter stage. Energy Storage: When the switch is turned on, the inductor stores energy in its magnetic field. Releasing Energy: When the switch is turned off, the inductor releases the stored energy back into the circuit, helping to maintain a steady DC voltage output.
